Let’s go! It’s time for the 2026 CGC Comics Registry Awards!

The CGC Comics Registry is a web-based platform where collectors can create a digital inventory for their collectibles and showcase their best CGC-certified collectibles within Competitive and Custom Sets to compete for recognition and awesome prize packages. Best of all? It’s completely free to join this great community. With more than 8,000 participants, 100,000 registered sets and 750,000 collectibles, this resource grows in popularity each year.
For 2026, CGC will present prize packages to CGC Comics Registry Awards winners in the following major categories:
- Best Golden Age Sets (comics published starting with Action Comics #1 June 1938-1959)
- Best Silver Age Sets (comics published 1960-1969)
- Best Bronze Age Sets (comics published 1970-1979)
- Best Copper Age Sets (comics published 1980-1989)
- Best Modern Age Sets (comics published 1990-present)
- Best Presented Sets (sets with the best descriptive text and images)
- Best Magazine Sets
- Best Custom Sets
- Best Signature Series Sets
- Best CGCxJSA Sets (new for 2026!)
- Best International Comics Sets
- The John Verzyl Sr. Registry Masterpiece Award (based on a collector’s overall collection of Registry sets)
Overall quality, balance, presentation, and completion will be considered when our judges panel selects the winning Competitive and Custom sets. Private (Obscured) sets are not considered for awards.
The Prize Package
We’re excited to announce that for 2026, CGC Comics Registry Award winners will receive a Signature Series copy of DC’s Birds of Prey #26. This gorgeous variant cover will be signed AND sketched by the incredible cover artist Kyu Yong Eom!

Winners will also receive a $500 grading credit, swag bag packed with all sorts of super cool CGC stuff, and one of our CGC Comics Registry Awards Best Set Winners Pennants!
To participate, be sure your set is registered and ready to go with images of your books on the CGC Comics Registry by 11 a.m. EDT on July 8, 2026. Winners will be announced on July 23, 2026.
