NGC UK Announces Major Improvements to Return Shipping and Insurance Services for CGC Submissions

NGC International UK Limited™ (NGC UK™) is pleased to announce several major improvements to its return shipping and insurance services for comic book and magazine submissions made to Certified Guaranty Company™ (CGC®). With the updates, the return shipment process will be simplified, some costs have been lowered and return shipments sent via FedEx will now be insured for up to £80,000 per package. The changes apply to return shipments from NGC UK’s London office and will be effective for CGC submissions delivered to NGC UK starting January 1, 2023.
Return shipping via FedEx
With the updates, NGC UK will primarily ship completed CGC submissions to UK addresses via FedEx with insurance coverage of up to £80,000 per package procured by NGC UK. The FedEx shipping method used will be based on the submitter’s declared value.
New NGC UK return shipping rates for comic book and magazine submissions made to CGC, effective January 1, 2023:

Shipping on one’s own account
Submitters may still request that NGC UK use a provided return shipping label. However, shipments organized by the submitter or on the submitter’s own shipping account are NOT insured by NGC UK, and the risk of loss or damage will be assumed by the submitter.
With each submission to CGC in the UK, select your return shipping preference using this form, and include the form with your submission.
Why FedEx?
NGC UK has found FedEx to be the fastest and most reliable service for return shipping and using primarily one shipping service will greatly streamline the return shipping process, as well as provide NGC UK with a greater ability to negotiate better prices on behalf of its submitters. Collectors and dealers will benefit from getting submissions back more quickly, sometimes at lower prices than before, with reliable insurance coverage.
Updated submission forms will be available on CGCcomics.uk on or before January 1, 2023.
